1. General Refund Policy

Unity Education ERP is committed to customer satisfaction. We offer refunds under specific conditions outlined in this policy. All refunds are processed according to the terms agreed upon at the time of purchase.

2. Trial Period

Unity offers a 30-day trial period for new customers. During this period:

  • You can explore all Unity features with sample data
  • No payment is required during the trial
  • You can cancel at any time without charges
  • Data migration services are available upon subscription

3. Subscription Refunds

Monthly Subscriptions

  • Refunds are available within 30 days of payment
  • Prorated refunds for unused months
  • Service access continues until the end of the paid period

Annual Subscriptions

  • Full refund available within 60 days of initial payment
  • Prorated refunds available after 60 days but within 12 months
  • No refund for renewals after the first year

4. Implementation and Setup Fees

Implementation and setup services are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. However, refunds may be considered in the following cases:

  • Technical inability to implement Unity in your environment
  • Failure to meet agreed implementation milestones
  • Cancellation within 7 days of contract signing (before work begins)

5. Custom Development Refunds

Custom development work follows a different refund structure:

  • 50% refund if cancelled before development begins
  • Prorated refund based on work completed
  • No refund for completed custom features
  • Source code ownership transfers upon full payment

6. Training Services

Training services refunds are available under specific conditions:

  • Full refund if cancelled 48 hours before scheduled training
  • 50% refund if cancelled within 48 hours
  • No refund for no-shows or cancellations after training begins
  • Rescheduling is available at no additional cost

7. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  • Contact our support team at refunds@unityedu.ai
  • Provide your account details and reason for refund
  • Our team will review your request within 5 business days
  • Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

8. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refunds:

  • Third-party software licenses purchased through Unity
  • Data migration services after completion
  • SMS and communication credits
  • Domain and hosting fees
  • Services used beyond the refund period

9. Satisfaction Guarantee

Unity offers a satisfaction guarantee for implementation services:

  • If Unity doesn't meet your basic requirements within 60 days
  • We'll work with you to resolve issues at no additional cost
  • If issues cannot be resolved, we'll provide a prorated refund
  • This guarantee applies to standard implementations only

10. Cancellation Process

To cancel your Unity subscription:

  • Log into your Unity admin panel
  • Navigate to Account Settings > Subscription
  • Click "Cancel Subscription" and follow prompts
  • Or email support@unityedu.ai with cancellation request
  • Data export tools are available for 30 days post-cancellation

11. Special Circumstances

We may consider refunds outside of this policy in exceptional circumstances:

  • Extended service outages beyond our control
  • Technical issues preventing normal use
  • Changes in educational regulations affecting usage
  • Institutional closures or mergers
