Eight pre-configured sports facilities with slot-based booking, advance booking windows, indoor/outdoor classification, and doctor-approved pool memberships. Students book from the portal, mobile app, or admin console.
Multi-Sport Facility Setup
Pre-configured for gym, tennis, badminton, basketball, cricket, football, swimming, and squash. Each facility has a unique code, indoor/outdoor flag, capacity, and operating hours.
Slot-Based Court Booking
Configure slots per day and slot duration per facility. Students book through portal, admin, or mobile. Status tracks Pending, Confirmed, and Cancelled with advance booking day limits.
Swimming Pool Memberships
Doctor-approved memberships with issue and expiry dates, guest_visits counter, and status management: Active, Expired, Revoked, or Suspended.
NSO Registration
National Sports Organization participation tracking for students. Links to academic records and is part of the broader gymkhana profile for each student.

Technical Clubs
Robotics, coding, electronics, and innovation teams managed under one module. Club events track date, location, budget, and attendee count for every technical event held.
Competition Teams
Intercollegiate and national competition rosters with sport/event type, member list management, and performance tracking across tournaments and seasons.

Student Governance
Three-tier governance covering Gymkhana positions, hostel-level councils, and General Council standing. Term dates, eligibility qualifications, and participation history are all tracked in one place.
Gymkhana Positions
President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, and custom roles. Each position records term dates, eligibility qualifications, and the current office-holder tied to the student record.
Hostel Council
Hostel-level governance with council term tracking and a member list. Links to the hostel management module so council decisions can reference accommodation data.
GC Standing
General Council standing tracks every student as Active, Suspended, or Resigned. GC Events and GC Event Hostel records document participation and hosting history.

Festival Departments
Committee structure with convener assignment and complete member lists per department. Departmental budgets roll up to the festival-level allocation.

Individual event records with name, date, location, type, capacity, and registration tracking. Suitable for competitions, performances, workshops, and exhibitions.
Volunteer Management
Volunteers are assigned roles and shifts with hours tracked throughout the festival. Gymkhana Fees (type and amount per academic year) are managed separately.

How does court booking work in Unity Gymkhana?
Each Sports Facility has a facility code, type (court, pool, gym), indoor/outdoor classification, capacity, and configurable time slots per day with duration. Students can book a court through the portal, admin console, or mobile app. Every Court Booking record stores the date, selected time slot, and status (Pending / Confirmed / Cancelled). Advance booking limits are set per facility — for example, a tennis court may allow bookings up to 7 days in advance.
What is a Swimming Pool Membership?
A Swimming Pool Membership is a doctor-approved access credential issued to students and staff. It tracks the issue date, expiry date, and a guest_visits counter. The membership status can be Active, Expired, Revoked, or Suspended. Doctor approval is a mandatory step before the membership is activated, ensuring health and safety compliance for the pool.
How are festival volunteers tracked?
Festival Volunteers are registered against a specific Annual Festival (Mood Indigo, Techfest, AAVHAN, or custom). Each volunteer record captures their assigned role, shift timings, and total hours tracked across all shifts. Festival Departments manage committee and convener assignments with full member lists. Budget allocation is tracked at the festival level and broken down by department and event.

Unity Gymkhana comes with 33 pre-configured clubs and organizations across three types: Cultural Clubs, Technical Clubs, and Competition Teams. Competition Teams manage sport or event type, member rosters, and performance records.
