One app for every staff member
who doesn’t sit at a desk
Tasks, messages, transport, visitors, procurement, photos, dashboards — all in one mobile app for your non-teaching team.
No more WhatsApp groups for work. No more 10 different systems for 10 different workflows.
Why staff need their own app
Three problems every school faces with non-teaching operations.
WhatsApp is not a work system
Tasks, approvals, complaints, photos — all mixed in group chats. Nobody owns anything. Half the messages get buried. There is no record of who did what.
10 workflows, 10 systems
Transport in one app, procurement approvals on email, visitor passes printed from a register, event photos on personal phones. Nothing is connected.
No visibility for management
The principal has no dashboard showing what operations actually accomplished today. Supervision means walking around and asking people.
Assign, track, and close — with proof
Supervisors assign tasks. Staff receive a push notification, accept, mark in-progress, and close with a photo as proof. Overdue tasks are flagged automatically.
- Tasks assigned by supervisor, HOD, or admin — received instantly on mobile
- Status flow: Assigned → Accepted → In Progress → Completed
- Photo upload as proof of completion (cleaned lab, repaired fixture, setup done)
- Push notifications for new tasks, approvals needed, and escalations
- Overdue tasks flagged to supervisor with time elapsed
- Task history per staff member — searchable, auditable
Team messaging that replaces WhatsApp groups
Department channels, threaded conversations, and document sharing — auditable and role-aware. No more scrolling through 200 messages to find one decision.
- Department and team channels — facility, transport, front desk, events
- Share ERP documents in chat: purchase orders, visitor passes, task reports
- Role-aware: staff see only channels relevant to their function
- Threaded replies so conversations stay organized
- Searchable message history — find any decision, any time
- Native push notifications — nothing gets missed
No maintenance request goes unnoticed
A teacher reports a broken projector. The request is routed to the right technician. It is tracked until resolved. Nobody needs to follow up manually.
- Maintenance requests raised by any staff member or teacher
- Auto-routed to the correct technician based on request category
- Technician accepts, works, closes with notes and photo
- Requestor notified when resolved — no follow-up needed
- Location check-ins for housekeeping rounds
- Resolution time tracked per request — SLA visibility for management
- History: all requests per location, searchable by type and date
Transport, Visitors & Procurement — on mobile
Workflows that used to require a computer — now handled from any staff phone.
Transport Tracker
- Driver check-in at route start
- Bus location updates for coordinator
- Trip log: pick-up/drop times per stop
- Delay alerts to parents via parent app
- Route-wise dashboard for transport head
Visitor Management
- Pre-register visitors, generate QR pass
- Front desk scans pass on arrival
- Visitor log: who, whom they met, duration
- Security flags for blocklisted visitors
- VIP visitor alerts to relevant staff
Procure-to-Pay
- Raise purchase request from mobile
- Approval chain: HOD → accounts → management
- PO status tracking in real-time
- Goods received note on delivery
- Invoice matching and payment status

Management sees everything. In real time.
Every workflow in UniPulse feeds a dashboard — so supervisors and principals know exactly what happened today without asking anyone.
On the Roadmap
GPS location verification on check-in
Confirm staff is physically at the assigned location before a check-in is recorded — eliminates proxy check-ins.
Recurring task schedules
Define daily rounds, weekly deep-clean cycles, and monthly inspections — tasks auto-created on schedule without manual assignment.
Incident reporting from the spot
Staff raise safety hazards, security incidents, or infrastructure issues directly from the app with photo and location — routed to the right authority instantly.
Offline mode with background sync
For campuses with intermittent connectivity — staff can complete tasks and upload photos offline; data syncs when connection is restored.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is UniPulse available on both Android and iOS?
Yes. UniPulse is available as a native app on both Android (Play Store) and iOS (App Store). It is designed for staff who primarily use smartphones — no tablet or computer required.
Is UniPulse the same as the parent or student app?
No. UniPulse is a separate app built specifically for non-teaching staff — facility teams, transport coordinators, front desk, procurement officers, event coordinators, and security. The parent app (for fee payment, attendance viewing, communication) and student app (for LMS, timetable) are separate products.
Does UniPulse work offline?
UniPulse requires an internet connection for most features (messaging, task updates, photo uploads). Offline mode with background sync is on the roadmap for campuses with intermittent connectivity.
Is attendance from UniPulse linked to payroll?
Yes. Clock-in and clock-out from UniPulse flows directly into Unity HRMS. Shift-wise attendance, late arrivals, and early departures are captured and reflected in the monthly payroll computation — no manual reconciliation needed.
Who can assign tasks in UniPulse?
Tasks can be assigned by supervisors, department heads, or administrators. Teachers can also raise maintenance requests which are automatically routed to the appropriate technician or team based on the request category.
